Pawan Sthapak hails from a long line of
Ophthalmologists.He is establish the Jan Jyoti Eye Hospital in the year of
1992, after having fellowship from Saurashtra
Central Eye Hospital, Gujrat, Eye Research Centre
Chennai, & Moorefields Eye Hospital, London
an academic ophthalmologist. Dr Sthapak received his
basic medical education in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh,
and completed his postgraduate training in
ophthalmology at the Medical College Jabalpur.
He is pioneer of in Phaco Emulsification in
Central India, He has started Zyoptix Laser
Refrective surgery first in Central India areas of
specialization include Advance Cataract surgery
diseases of the cornea, eye banking and corneal
transplantation, and community eye health. He leads
the global initiative to eliminate avoidable
